“ This was our first time visiting the Guild House and it was a good experience. We were visiting Columbus for a girls trip and decided to choose this place for our "fancier" outing. Overall we were pleased with our dishes and the drink selection. ”
“ Came in on a Monday after having lived in Columbus over 2 decades ago and not visiting since. The Downtown scene has changed significantly for the better and this restaurant is definitely a gem on top of an onslaught of pretty decent other options. Had the burrata on top of toast. Wish the schmear of burrata could have been more heavy handed, but the pickled red onions on top really cuts through the richness of the cheese as a welcome addition. The broth that enrobed the dumplings was phenomenal and the veggies especially the mushrooms were blanched to perfection, but the dumplings themselves were a bit too al dente for me. The serve was great and checked in on us at appropriate intervals. His suggestion to try the cocktail of the moment was impeccable especially since we told him how much we adore gin. Won't hesitate to come back next time I'm back in town ”
“ It was the closest place next to our hotel. We took a chance and were at the door at opening on Mother's Day. We have the Good Fortune of them seating us immediately without a reservation! Not knowing what we were going to be getting ourselves into it turned out to be an exceptional place. Everything about this place was five stars, from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere. You're truly in for a treat! ”
“ We went for a double date while in town for a friend's wedding. The food was great, and our server was fantastic! The lobster angolotti was my favorite of the dishes we ordered...it was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The chicken dish was a little dry, but the beans with it were amazing. Could have been a standalone dish. This was the best carrot cake we've ever had. ”
“ My first experience here was yesterday for my mom's 60th birthday. It was the most special experience I can remember having. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the staff was not only kind and attentive but really went the extra mile to make her and the whole party feel special. A small card wishing her happy birthday, some cute confetti, a complimentary champagne toast, and dessert sample. That personal touch alone is worth the 5 stars. The food and drinks were fantastic, too. Absolutely delicious! The rye cocktail was my particular favorite but everything was crafted to perfection. The filet was the best I've had in years (or ever lol). It will be a cherished memory and I can't recommend visiting the Guild House enough. Thank you so much! ”
“ Had my son's high school graduation dinner here, and it was perfect. The guild house has always been his favorite restaurant, and they went above and beyond to make his day special. Our server Olivia was on top of everything, and even though we had 15 people, the food and drinks came out without a wait, and it was all exactly as ordered and delicious. ”
“ What an amazing gem! Both the service and the food here is amazing! Casey welcomed us and was super helpful! She knew the menu and answered all our questions. The food is spectacular! The burrata is perfectly balanced and had amazing depth of flavor! The Hamachi crudo was very complex with a bit of a spicy kick. The sweet potato rolls were very rich and fluffy. Their bar is serving up some perfectly mixed cocktails and they also have a great selection of fun and delicious non-alcoholic drinks. For mains we had the scallops and the halibut. Both perfectly cooked and presented immaculately. For dessert we had the strawberry and the cherry signature desserts. So delicious and a perfect balance of tart acidity with rich and sweet chocolate. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff on creating a wonderful gem in Columbus! ”
